Withholding tax tables – Fiscal year 2022
The Portuguese Government has approved the withholding tax (Personal Income Tax) tables applicable in 2022 to employment and pension income for Madeira residents (Order 550/2021, of December 30th, 2021).
The new withholding tax tables applicable to the same type of income earned by Azores residents were also republished and amended by Rectification Order 56-A/2022 of January 24th, 2022. The withholding tax tables on Mainland residents’ income were rectified by Rectification order 56-B, of December 2nd, 2021.
