Standard contractual clauses’ font size in Portugal

Standard contractual clauses minimum font size is set to 11 or 2,5 mm. Minimum spacing between lines is set at 1,15. Breach of this rule will lead to contracts being null and void.

Law no. 32/2021 was published on May 27th,2021, and will enter into force on August 25th, 2021.

All companies should review all contracts and adapt all Standard Agreements with consumers accordingly.
