Portuguese minimum wage increase 2024
As of January 1st, 2024, the minimum wage in Portugal (mainland) will be set at 760 euros. In the case of part-time employees, the minimum monthly salary must be prorated.
The minimum wage in the Madeira Autonomous Region was set at 850 Euros.
The minimum wage in the Azores Autonomous Regions was set at 861 Euros.
The new minimum wage will prevail over any previously contractually agreed upon lower salary.
