Portuguese minimum wage increase 2023

As of January 1st, 2023, the minimum wage in Portugal will be set at 760 euros. In the case of part-time employees, the minimum monthly salary must be prorated.

Following the publication of Decree Law 85/2002 of December 22nd in the Republic’s gazette, the new minimum wage will prevail over any previously contractually agreed upon lower salary.
